I've been in two long distance relationships. Generally, they're really hard and kinda weird. My bf and I talk on the phone every night but when I see him in person it's like getting to know him in a different way. It's really good that you already know each other, and aren't doing the long distance thing the whole time from the beginning. This should make the relationship stronger. Also, consider this a good test for the relationship--if you two can last being parted like that, then maybe you can last a lifetime. Being parted will either strengthen or hurt your relationship, and either way, you're learning something that will be very valuable for determining whether you're ultimately right for each other. The key is lots of communication, and not just one way. Do a combination of phone, email, snail mail, msn, facebook, and trips to visit one another. I love talking with my bf every night on the phone, but nothing can make me happier than getting a letter in the mail from him with a few sweet sentiments of how much he misses me. Being long distance means you have to go farther to show that you care, but once again, this should make your relationship all the stronger. Good luck!

if she loves you as much as you love her then she will wait as long as possible for you. it can work but it will be a lot harder to keep alive. the distance will "test" your relationship to see if you can still love each other with out having to be together 24/7. it will teach the both of you how valuable the time you spend together when you finally are together again. i really hope that everything works out =D

Another 3 years?
Personally I don't think so.
3 years is a LONG time not to see each other.

I'll tell you one thing if she loves you as much as you say you love her, she'll be there waiting for you, becasue true love prevails.
