Given the probabiliy, find the odds?
The probability of tossing a total of 7 using two number cubes is 1/6. How would i go about solving this equation?
I figure out that 6+1, 5+2, and 4+3 will give me 7. So would i divide 7 by 6 to give me 1.16. or am i doing it wrong?
or would it be 3 / 12. since i am using two 6 sided cubes which totals 12, and their is only 3 possable outcomes.

probability is favorable over total number of outcomes. odds are favorable over unfavorable. it would be 1/5, which is .2
