my friend told me that his didn't have borders but he didn't know why mine did. can u tell me how to take the borders out?

Unfortunately you can't. The game lacks widescreen support. If your friends isnt doing it, you obviously have a bigger and better TV than he or she does.

Do you have a widescreen TV or something? Go to the Wii system settings and change the screen to "Widescreen". It may help.
