Is your toddler or baby also fascinated by this DVD BABY EINSTEIN 'numbers nursery'?
I think it's the best baby DVD ever. My baby loves it. The toys and puppets are great, the image is sharp, the colors and sounds are so vivid.
Other DVD's are almost boring in comparison...
Pitusi i saw the link. it's the first time that i hear that DVD's may have adverse effects. Of course DVD's are not meant to replace parents face to face interaction, I play the DVD maybe 1-2x
per week, then i play with baby. I think the combo is best, the study should compare 'face-to-face' to 'face-to-face plus DVD', not 'face-to-face' with 'DVD'

analyze is like archives, you could tension in spite of effects you desire to attain. i admire the toddler Einstein DVDs and all of their different products. My infants did earnings from viewing them as I watched with them (no longer each and all the time) and reinforced what replaced into on the show screen. They found out their shapes, numbers, colorings, animals, musical contraptions, and planets in the previous then the different young infants in Pre-ok. i do no longer understand of the different 4 year olds who ought to call each and all the planets interior the image voltaic device. They enjoyed the track too and have regarded the tunes while heard someplace else. the hot toddler seems merely as involved; a minimum of interior the musical DVDs.

I'll save the negative comments...

You might as well put the Teletubbies on, a baby would be fascinated too..
Edit.
This is not the only link you will find about this matter. ALL interaction is still better than DVD+Interaction, but of course, it's up to the parents how they want to raise their children. It's not too bad in your case, but there are lots of babies glued to the TV because moms have to get stuff done (and they really believe this is good for their babies).

My son liked all of them except parts of the farm animal one. The running pigs scared him. Oh and the crayons in the shape one freaked him out too.
ETA: The AAP recommends NO television for the first two years. Personally, I've looked at the studies and find them flawed. Using the TV as a babysitter is NOT the same as using the TV as a teaching tool. This is MY belief, the AAP does not agree with me.

My daughter loved all the baby Einsteins. Ever since they came out! And my son is mesmerized by them as well! Get all of them. It is truly worth it! My daughter has learned SO much from them. And now that she is older, she is really in to Little Einsteins.
