I feel like a third wheel in my school's history club, but my best friend is in the club. Should I quit?

My best friend holds an office position in my high school's history club. Last year I didn't registar in time, but my friend did. She made a lot of friands and now holds an office position. I joined this year with the thought that this would be some time for us to spend together and for me to hang out with people who have a passion for the same thing I do - history. Anyways, my friends knows all the people in the club, whereas I only know a couple of people. She acts like the social butterfly and I feel like a third wheel because everyone is already friends from last year. I would just quit the club, but she joined the Deabte club for me (I am president) even though she has no interest in Deabte, whereas I really do like history, possible more than she does. Should I quit the club, or let her know my thoughts, or tuff it out or what?

If you are passionate about history, I say stay in the club. I think maybe if you got to know the other people in it better, you would have a better time. Since your best friend is in the club, try asking her if she could introduce you to them.
