Gilchrist upset with Clarke being made T20 skip?

As if the Sreesanth issue was not enough, we now have Aussies being an unhappy unit with disagreements among themselves.

http://sports.indiainfo.com/2007/12/06/0712061241_...

Gilchrist is upset that he was snubbed and Clarke is now the T20 captain.

What do you feel about this disgruntled group of egoistic maniacs who think they rule the world?

Update:

Copying the Indians? Hmm. Thats interesting. The ŚþЄĊłăŁ ØŃ∑ likes it ! :-)

Selectors may be trying to emulate the Indian way, where in they made M S Dhoni the T20 Captain. That move worked well for India. But I am skeptical about the similar move by CA.

Indians are THE No.1 in T20. Gilchrist or Ponting could do better than a drunken brawler.

Disagreements can happen in any team .. Gilly has reason to be upset! I do not think it is fair to make Clarke the T20 skipper. Even before he had played for Australia he was being touted as a future captain.

I am sure there are hidden lobbies behind this decision and it does not bear too well for cricket!

You lie through your teeth mate! Gilchrist is NOT upset, this was a joint decision to prepare Clarke for the day when he becomes our new captain, which he will when Ponting retires. Our players work well with CA, & don't go on with that crap they do in your country, so don't make up lies about us, you waste of space. The 20/20 game was chosen to give Clarke a feel of the job because it is unimportant in the scheme of things to Australia.

Well gilchrist is too old now to be made captain someone younger has to take the reins, and looking at the australian team the only young player really who has a guranteded place is Clarke so he diserves the role.

Gilchrist is not a captain material.. so they didnt appoint him as captain.. I dont think he is upset.. he is not a dravid or ganguly to be upset if not appointed as captain.. They may be egoistic bec they brought all changes to the international cricket.. and see how cricket improved both technically and professionally.. No doubt they are best in todays cricket world..

They may be not so childish like other teams .They are proffessionals and they wont create such an image which will destroy their cricket.
