Are refurbished cell phones good phones to get?

Refurbished phones are great deals, just look out. If you are planning to get one from eBay, pick through the return policy and user feedback. You don't want to get stuck with a phone that breaks a few months later. I have heard horror stories from friends who are dumb enough to buy from bad eBayers and their phones don't last.

Moral of the story, just be careful.

newer styled refurbished phones are fine i.e. the blackjack, the razor, the slider, etc. But when it comes to older styled refurbished phones i would not recommend getting them i once got a phone that was a pretty old style and it was refurbished and after like a week it just completely stopped working. So yeah, if you're talking about buying a refurbished blackjack i think it should be fine cause like i said before its a newer style so it wont mess up. My husband and that i had to purchase a refurbished telephone b/c we could no longer take care of to pay for a clean one after ours broke. We offered the telephone returned in January, and we've not had a topic with it in any respect. We have been given an audiovox from Alltel.

I got my refurbished BlackBerry Curve 8300 from Cingular (AT&T) for $32 including tax and shipping.. existing contract. I think refurbished phone can be a great deal. They are not any worse than new.

Refubs are a fine phone to get. They come with the same warranty as a regular phone. And if you ever do a warranty exchange or insurance it will be a refurb you get anyway
