What is the advantage and disadvantage of One World Government?

I feel there isn't any advantages. We would be living just like China or Russia. The government would tell you how many children you can have, where your going to live and how many can live there, etc.. We have enough of our rights being violated by the government now, why would we give them the right to freely do so without even anybody saying we don't want this? This is suppose to be the land of the free, but little by little our rights are being taken away without hardly anybody realizing it, and no one is saying a word. One world Government, in my book- NO WAY! Just think of now where you can smoke,not even in your own car,you have to wear a seat belt,even though you buy the gas, you bought the car, and your an adult and can't make that decision on your own. You won't be able to talk on a phone in your car pretty soon. The gps that everyone is so hyped up on , is just another way for the government to keep track of you. Some day poeple are going to regret that.

What an awful idea, and globalization of international trade has nothing to do with having only one government on the planet -- any more than the fact that you shop at a grocery store means that you'll wind up working and living there.

If there WERE a one-world government it's a guarantee that someone like Hitler or Stalin would be in charge of it. Needless to say there would be no outside political pressure or threats of force or sanctions to prevent the inevitable dictatorship from simply killing all perceived critics all the time without the slightest hesitation. And lack of competition from other economies would guarantee that the dictatorship would impose the worst imaginable economic policies.

Advantage: none.

Disadvantage: you can't even begin to list them all.

BAD NEWS......The NWO (New World Order, or One World Govt.) is the kingdom of that Anti-Christ....just as the bible predicts! GOOD NEWS...Means that JESUS CHRIST is coming SOON to rapture TRUE (watching and repenting) christians only!!!!!!! Lord help those who are left behind in the Tribulation (when the New World Order Kingdom comes to full power as God/Jesus allows.)

Advantages: negligible. Disadvantage: if you don't like the government, where can you go to avoid it?

Everything no one would get along and it would just end up being a big dictatorship because there would be fights for power and on and on and on.

there would be no advantage, it would be similar to when there were kings ruling the world.

i think that would depend on your social class....for the poor and working class there would be more advantages.for upper class there would be many disadvantages....that's why it will never happen.
