can playing sudoku and rubiks cube enhance one's memory?

    I believe that doing any type of mental "exercise" can be beneficial in keeping you on your toes. When you have something like sudoku or the rubix that can keep you sharp with your problem solving skills, it probably makes you think faster in other situations as well.

    I love the Rubix cube...after I learned how to do it, I became addicted to it, and solve it like 20x a day now. I feel like it makes my hand/eye coordination faster for some reason too.

    no. solving a rubik's cube or sudoku is just like looking for patterns on the cube or using logic. it can help your thinking but not your memory, unless you are doing blindfold rubik's cube solving, which i do, but after a few blindfold solves my brain gets messed up and i can't remember anything.

    I don't think it will help your memory, but I'm sure it stimulates other brain functions... maybe logic.

    Reading is a good memory exerciser though.

    rubix cube....maybe yes...but i dont think that sudoku will enchance ur memory
