What was the name of this show?

It was a drama based around a women's prison and it featured six inmates. During the course of the show each one was paroled and went to live or work in a bed and breakfast type cottage off in the woods. It aired during the mid 80s to early nineties and it was shown on channel 13 (my upn) but it only lasted one season. Eventually one inmate broke parole, and was returned to prison, one inmate attempted murder on a guard who raped her in prison, and the warden murdered one of the inmates lovers.
