How pregnant are you?
Red blood means fresh blood. Pink and brown bloody should be ok, but I would get checked out by your midwife asap for your peace of mind. It sounds like implantation bleeding.
I spotted like you (only when wiping) early on into my pregnancy and was fine. Though I still got checked out and had an early scan to check the progress.

If you're early in your pregnancy, light spotting (brown, pink, or red) is okay, probably just implantation bleeding. If you're further along though it could be something more.
I'd check with your doctor either way!! They may know things about your body and/or medical history that we don't, so definitely call and mention it to them.
