Why does he do this?

Okay I have been dating my boyfriend for almost 1 yr and 3months. When he had his wisdom teeth pulled i was there for each and every second to help him. And he also had another surgery and i was there every single second to help him in every way i could. Well I had my wisdom teeth (2 pulled 1 cut out) yesterday and he only came see me for 45 minutes. Last night he went out with his friends and today he brought me some soft mac and cheese and chocolate milk and that's it. Now he's with his friends and he said he'll come see me later.
It really hurts my feelings! To the point that I'm wondering if he even cares about me now!! Why? Why does he do this?

men have a different psychological makeup then women do. just because you doted on him when he got his pulled doesn't mean that he has to reciprocate in kind when you have yours pulled. 

thats not to say that he doesn't care about you. men need their own boy time as well. and different people show that they care in different ways. 

everything will be ok in the long run though so just relax for now

im a guy and i say just relax  if he didn't care about you he wouldnt have come to see u at all and he wouldnt have gone through the trouble of making u food and stuff  hes been dating u for 1yr3months so he definately cares about you   he prolly just doesnt kno u expect him to do the same thing u did cuz hes a guy  trust me he cares bout u
