That is because there is none. A site would have to be huge and costly so they charge you. I have been buying all the books from Krause and it now takes 5 to go from 1600- to date. They finally put 1801-date on 3 DVD's but that cost me $99, but saved me about $40 if I had to buy the 3 books. My main interest is Oriental coins and the books cost a fortune or are out of print. Even keeping up with U.S. coin books is not cheap. I really do not have the time to go through a 100 coins but if you wish to send me a list of a few at a time of the ones you know the country, date and denomination, I will be glad to help. The odd ball ones not in English we can get to later. Email me here if interested or go to a library and see if the have Krasue/Mishler's standard catalogs of world coins, the volume you need is 1801-1900.

Go to the library at 737.4 and look in the Standard Catalog of World coins. These books list coins back to 1600 with prices.
