I don't want to work here, how do I find a temporary job?

I am getting a divorce and I would like to travel. Is there any place you know besides the travel industry that I could get temporary jobs that last a few months? i would like to spend a few months in different places. I don't mean around the world. I want to stay in the United States. But I am not ready to make anyplace permanent yet. Any suggestions?

Look online for temporary agencies, then do what you need to do to apply to them. They can get you long or short term assignments.

Hi. Yes! Since you posted this under administrative and office support, I take it you have office skills. There are temporary employment agencies all over the country. Check them out online. The well known ones are Manpower and Kelly Services. Of course, in different state, there will be many others.

There is a VAST SHORTAGE of office support staff (administrative assistants, secretaries, receptionists, etc.) so if you have these types of skills it will be a piece of cake to travel all over...work a few months here and a few months there!

    Good luck!
