yes. of course you should. you should talk to the principal and she should talk to the people making the food.

Look up the number for the local health department where you're at. Hopefully you have witnesses that saw the cockroach before you returned your meal. The health department should send an inspector to ensure that the university is meeting all proper food handling procedures.
Did you speak to the dining room manager? If no, you might want to do that. Talking to a server or cashier that has no management authority would be a waste of time. There may also be a process through Student Services to help you. At the very least, you may have to look at getting a refund for the balance of your semester.
Last but not least, if your parents are participating in the cost of your education, let them know right away. They may want to follow up on this disgusting incident.
Good luck!

"Stuff occurs". you may document a complaint with the wellness government on your State, and that they're going to check out to be sure if this replaced into an remoted incident or if the kitchen is violating the wellness code. opposite to what the different posters pronounced, you haven't any longer have been given any valid grounds for a lawsuit considering which you suffered no damages. bugs get into nutrition, and not the main suitable resaurant kitchen interior the worldwide may be a hundred% succesfull at combating that. additionally, that the roach "crawled out" ability that it had purely presently have been given into the pie, no longer earlier it replaced into cooked or reheated which additionally has a tendency to intend it replaced into in basic terms a 'wandering trojan horse' that got here across some thing to consume. Take this issue further and make sure this problem is fixed. That is completely unsanitary and disgusting. If they have roaches in their final product, i can only imagine what kind of environment they are cooking in. GROSS!!

I wouldn't have been so hasty as to throw all your evidence away. It's your word against theirs, now. You can make your complaint, but it's out of your hands now. Just don't eat there anymore.
