I was just wondering because I might get one how does the t-mobile sidekick work is it like a portible laptop where you can email and text at the same time how does it work please give me detailes because I have to be posotivly sure before I get it and do I have to be with t mobile to get the sidekick thanks alot and remember get into details

The Sidekicks [iD, 3, LX, and Slide] are really smart phones. they run all applications at once, letting you jump from one thing to another with ease. You can be on the internet and IMing someone at the same time. The only thing you can't do is talk on the phone and access the internet at the same time. You get a @Tmail and you can add an AOL | AIM / Yahoo email address so emails sent to those adresses appear on your sidekicks email. hope that helped..
