what is good quality brand name, hand held vacuum cleaner to clean up car? Having strong suction.?

I have a dyson DC 17 and that sucker will suck the chrome right off a 2" ball hitch. They have a handheld called the root 6. They are more expensive but for the power and the fact that you NEVER EVER have to mess with any filters I say the money is well spent.

Go to your nearest Hoover sweeper dealer and ask...or go to Walmart and look for a brand name model of hand held vacuums. Maybe a dirt devil would be good from K-Mart or Walmart. Since you won't use it that often (cause you could get that done when you get your car washed, or can use the cleaner at some of the gas stations) maybe you can buy a cheapie. But usually people who are that concerned about keeping their car clean buy themselves a heavy duty (usually orange in color) long extension cord. And, of course, that long extension cord is for other uses as well, and is a great addition for a handyman.
