Could the security guard have saved all those lives at New life Church if she had been unarmed?
Interesting to find the attacker armed to the teeth? I wonder how many massacres could've been prevented by one armed civilian with a bit of mandatory training? I guess I'm just throwing out some social commentary for those who wander through life babbling without thinking.
My other question is: How many of you think spell-check works past your title on this site?
Final result was the Lady guard shot down the attacker, not he killed himself or slipped on a banana peel or whatever. Wisconsin and Illinois are the only states left in America that don't have any "shall issue" carry laws.
final addendum: after being shot 4 times by the security guard the attacker then committed suicide? would he have if she hadn't shot him 4 times?
I did not put this question up for a best answer, I put it up to see what the % was for being able to protect ones self. Hopefully some of our weaker kneed politicians will stumble over it and stop kow-towing to the bleeding heart press. Thanx to all who answered.

Gun control laws do not work and only take the guns out of law abiding citizens while the criminals are free to have as many guns as they want.
Gun control should be being able to hit your target on the first shot........

No .. the fact that she was armed made all the difference. I can tell you any attacker will think twice now about attacking another church since most large churches either have in place a similar emergency plan or will soon implement one for sure..

She said that she prayed and it was divine intervention that helped her shoot the killer.
I guess if she didn't have a gun, God would have given her a lethal karate chop or she could have tried the vulcan death grip on the guy.

I seriously don't understand those freaks who think we shouldn't have guns. Okay...like the criminals won't get a hold of weapons, anyway? THINK, people, THINK!

Well, the latest report indicates that he died of a self inflicted gun shot. ie he killed himself.
