It means that they want a copy of the pic to post on their own myspace profile.
So they haven't just copied and pasted it, they have asked permission!

Ownage is a slang term that also means Awsome.
In online computer games, shooting ones espically
When you kill people sometimes people say '' You got Owned ''
This is a different way of basically saying '' You got served basically ''
So on bebo, myspace Ownage means Awsome,
but on games it means you just got served :)
Source(s): I play online computer games, and see the word used a-lot I sometimes use it. - 1 decade ago
its a stupid little thing, doesnt mean anything. its a FAD to 'own' someone now. like someones picture whoever took the picture is in a sense 'giving' it to someone. i guess it makes people feel better when someone owns a picture that isnt really there? it is really confusing and makes no sense, but thats pop culture for you. ownage isnt a word, people nowadays like to add syllables to words to be 'cool' i guess it originated from savage, everyone was saying that. including me lol. i still do cuz well.. its awesome.
but it doesnt mean anything
