Suggestions for self-promotion please?
I'm a semi-professional model. I say semi-pro because although I have been paid this isn't what I do full time. I want to promote myself better, if I could get enough momentum going I could model/act full-time - which is what I'd much rather do.

try checking out modelmayhem.com they have casting call listings that you can check out there for free. most of them are paid//compensation etc. Most of the photographers there will also help you get your name out in the industry. I used model mayhem & it really jump started my career a few years back. (now i'm a mommy, so that's my job. haha)
