does anybody know about an "o" operation?

my nephew was born with his liver and his small and large intestines on the outside of his stomach. he is in surgury right now, the doctors are putting his intestines in today and will put his liver in at the end of janurary.i want to know how they do the surgry. nobody in my family really knows whatthey are doing. his "o" is huge but it will be 1/4 of the size after today. i was wanting information on it if anybody knows about what is going on.thanks and lease keep him in your prayers.thanks

Omphalocele is the name of the condition that my nephew has. i want informatoon on the surgry that will fix that problem.

Update 2:

i just got an update on my nephew!!! they were able to get all his intestines and is liver in with this one surgry. his mom said his little tummy is flat. thank you for all your answeers.. please keep him ih your prayers while he is recovering!
