No. It's just letting people know that your celebrating the birth of Christ. There wouldn't even be a holiday if it weren't for the birth of Christ ,So rejoice and Merry Christmas to you too.

I suppose that depends on the tone they deliver it in. Some people say "Merry Christmas" and it sounds exactly like "Go to hell." Those people have forgotten what Christmas is about. Peace on Earth, GOODWILL towards men.

i'm not but atheists(and many others) are, so like it or not their belief and feelings should be considered if you're as righteous as i appear to think you are. Maybe if you're so tolerant that you're ok with someone preaching stuff like Jesus was no more than a magician at best to you all day long you'd have a leg to stand on, but somehow i doubt it.

I'd much rather hear Merry Christmas, or Happy Kwanzaa, or Happy Hanukkah than Happy Holidays. We live in America- say whatever it is that you want, or say nothing. But please don't try to lump them all together under Happy Holidays.

Each one is special to different people and should be treated as such.
