I have a weird message that keeps coming up????

We have spybot and I have done a scan and remove search, but this message keeps appearing and it's getting really annoying;

Your internet browser was infected by Trojan.win32obfuscated.gx. You need to clean your system immediately, in case it can be crashed soon.

Click on to download the high-tec antispyware protection software (Recommended).

This isn't even proper English. Is it for real or is it a hoax just wanting me buy their software, if so how do I get rid of it.

Or is it a virus itself, how can I get rid of it. Please help.

Thank you in advance.

Update:

Thanks, all great answers, but done all that but this message won't go away!!!! I don't know what else to try?

    Sounds like a virus. A Trojan on its own generally does not do too much harm, they are the door way into your PC for other nasties, the message though does not sound like a windows message, they are pretty precise on at least getting grammar right. There are viruses that can try and replicate themselves on set times/instances. I got one (can't remember the name now) that would replicate/try to every so many mins of the hour plus do other things at certain times of the day then every certain day of the month it would do something else, it also replicated itself to all shared folders including shared folders across my local network at the time so I it got on to my 4 pcs at the time. I would suggest getting a virus scan done not just spy ware. AVG is good and free from www.grisoft.com do a complete search and see what it turns up.

    This is a hoax and you are right, if you click on the site, you'll get infected with a very bad form of spyware. In fact, you probably already are infected for that message to appear. Run a virus and spyware scan, in safe mode, to make sure you have it all cleaned out.
