As long as the askers answer a lot of questions as well, it evens out.

Actually you lose 5 points when you ask a question and lose 2 when you delete and answer. And I dont know what you mean by "Askers in the red" though.

Most askers should try to strike a balance between asking and answering. This helps the community to be strong. If all you do is ask, then you certainly won't have many points.

Actually you lose 5 points for asking a question! You have to answer more questions then you ask to stay in the plus side. Also, you get 3 points for choosing a Best Answer.

Cool dogness. Answer 3 to every one you ask. Mathmatics tells me you can never be behind and it is absolute. (A million people have told you it is 5 pts to ask) You can't treat it like real q & a site, you must look at it like a bit of a chat room; answer some questions, get involved a little. Lol! at myself. I've only been a member for about 3 weeks!!!

askers just have to answer once in a while.... its a give and take relationship
huh... doesnt anyone know you get 3 points back for picking a best answer... hence losing only 2 points?

Actually, asking a question, I think, makes you lose 5 points, but, other than that, I don't get what you are trying to ask... What do you mean by 'in the red'? Sorry, but you're not making any sense...
