He is probably nervous around you because he most likely feels rejected. And now you know how he feels and he feels weird because you don't feel the same way.

I've never been good at answering riddles, because riddles require additional info (what someone has learned) that is not included in the message/ riddle itself. As far as I can tell, though, the big stumper of this riddle is: "If you do it once, its good." i_luvclovers, the asker of this riddle, posted this riddle before. He posted it as a sin previously, but changed it to serious crime. I guess that's for clarification. Either way, with that said, i_luvclovers did not change anything else about the riddle. Such as clarifying whether it is "If you do it once (in one day), its good." or "If you do it once (at all), its good." If a riddle doesn't say anything, don't assume. Anyways, that's my two-cents thrown into the peanut-gallery. I hope someone figures it out, cause it's an interesting riddle. PS: Just for kicks, I'm going to throw in an answer. "if you do it once, its good. if you do it twice on the same day, its a serious crime." Jury Duty?

Not necessarily because of the feeling of rejection. But something else... like anger or disappointment or even pride.
Anger because the girl wouldn't respond.
Disappointment because, well, you had a good night with her and then she'd ruin the rest of the story?
Pride because, hmmm... after not receiving any responses, who would want to approach a girl and then ask her what's going on?
Personally, if the girl doesn't seem to respond to me or shows no interest, I stop. There are millions of girls out there. In fact, for every 1 male there are 3 female. So why the heck would I want to insist myself on someone who gave me hope but blew it?

OK, the first thing i want to say is if the girl did not want to go out with a younger guy why go as far as giving a number and agreeing to go out...then things went wrong when she out of pity agreed to go out with friends next week...on top of that it seems that she doesn't want to keep those plans as well, when she doesn't say a word next day in school. The guy in this case is obviously feels used and rejected in shame, He doesn't want to talk to her anymore cause he feels discouraged from previous attempt to go out...and sees no success from persuing it further....long answer...but that's what i think

well i as a man feel wrong to say this but he is an idiot he put in hard work to win your attention and yet once you give him a hint that you might be interested and he doesnt say anything but you should of said something to him as he may be shy and enjoys talking on the phone as its less personal i think the girl should ring him and ask him why he didnt say anything and if he doesnt admit he was shy then he is an idiot for not saying anything

Some free advice [cause I like you] The quality of your answers will always be inversely proportional to the length of your "question."
Now. From what I was able to read before dozing off, I would say you just need a fresh start on this one. His ego will probably not allow him to initiate it, so it's a question of whether or not it's worth it to you.

No. I suppose he was shy and he really likes you. Also, because he felt a little rejected that you didn't like someone younger. How much younger by the way? I probably wouldn't approach you for awhile if you rejected me but that's just me.

Initiate the conversation. If she says that she is going out with you and a bunch of friends, act calm and casually have a conversation with her. Say, "Hey! What's up?" Ask her, "Any ideas about next weekend?" That will get her talkin.
