What about the buying of America do to the weekness of the U.S. dollar?

The US dollar is currently being held artificially low which makes our exports cheaper and our imports more expensive. It is a way to counteract the artificially low Yen (currency of china).
People are flipping out over this, and it's really not a big deal. The reason the dollar is so popular is because it's stable, not because of how much value it has. That's why OPEC deals in dollars as well as almost all worldwide commodities. Just because the Euro is 2X the dollar in value doesn't mean anything significant.
The only problem that could arise would be the liquidation of foreign held US bonds, however that it unlikely.

On Black Friday I found a sale at Scotia Bank where they had the U.S. Dollar marked down 20%.
The U.S. dollar is doing good, but it's the Monopoly $$$ I'm worried about. I played four games Saturday and there was a housing crisis on Boardwalk!
