I have the same problem with the neighbors cats!! Nothing worse than digging in my garden to plant a new plant and comming up with a "gift". The BEST thing that I've used is a product called Liquid Fence. Its in a spray bottle and all you do is spray it around the perimeter of your garden, trash cans, ect. and it keeps them away. Works great, won't hurt the cat. They make it for snakes, deer, racoons, lots of animals. I work at a garden shop and we carry it so you should be able to get it at any garden, landscaping shop. It stinks when you first spray it but the smell will go away in a day or so. Give it a try. Hope this helps

I've tried a couple of things, that work for other animals as well. The first to try, sprinkle cayenne pepper around the area they like to habitate, a mixture of crushed garlic, soaked in water for several hours, sprayed over your vegetable plants, and soil where they like to go. On the plants, it prevents insects from devouring your plants, unless they're from Italy. lol

Try using moth balls scattered around the area you don't want them to use. The don't like the smell. By the way it repells snakes also. If it rains you may have to replace them

    God Luck
