Eric: "But I jsut can't be frends.
Susan: "Why not?"
Eric: "Becsue I love you!"
Susan: "I don't know what to say/"
Eric: "I have known you for years, poured my heart out to you and you don't know what to say? Maybe I should just learn how not to care and love for you the way I do."
Susan: "Why would you do that?"
Eric: "Susan, my feellings for you are true. No guy would ever make you as happy as I would and no guy would ever treat as good as I do. Maybe I should just leave and hook up with all those other strong good guys who are victims of unrequited.

I think Eric should have asked if she felt the same way or was he wasting his time being with her. She seems to want him there for her but not in the same way he wants her. Eric should let her go and find someone else. Life is too short to be with someone who doesn't return your feelings.

Susan loves Eric but might need a little more time to admit she loves him. Eric should be a little more patient
