I really love music, so it's kind of hard for me to pick just one.

I tried getting links to the music from YouTube, but they have changed something, and I cannot find how to do links, so I will just have to list the songs for you, and perhaps you can look them up.

Here are some I really love, in no special order:

"California Dreaming" by The Mamas & The Papas

"All Along the Watchtower" by Jimi Hendrix; I also love Dylan's own version (Bob Dylan wrote it, but Hendrix recorded it first)

"San Francisco (Be Sure to Wear Flowers in Your Hair)" by Scott McKenzie

"Unchained Melody" by the Righteous Brothers (there are other versions, but theirs is the one I like best)

"I Left My Heart In San Francisco" by Tony Bennett (again, there are other versions, but his is my favorite)

"The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down" by The Band

"Once Upon a Time" by Tony Bennett (another one with multiple versions)

    "Eleanor Rigby" by The Beatles

"And I love Her" by The Beatles

    "Blackbird" by The Beatles

"Happiness is a Warm Gun" by The Beatles

"I Fall to Pieces" by Patsy Cline

Sorry, but for me, songs are like potato chips--I am never satisfied with just one.

    **EDIT**

    Heaven:

"Careless Whispers" is a great song, but it's from the 80s. I know because it came out when I was in high school, and I graduated in 1986. It was "the song" for a lot of my friends who broke up with their first loves ;)

There can never really be a "Best" one but I'm going with The Beatles and The GrassRoots as best bands.
