Bathroom Fan - Heater Out?

I have a Nutone 665 with Fan, Heater and Light. It is only 3 years old and the heater is not really used that much. It was running and just stopped. No noise, smell or anything.

The light and exauhast fan still work, I am pretty sure they are on the same power line. I checked the fuses, none were tripped.

Is there anything else to check? I can buy a new one for $80, but want to see if this one will work.

Update:

It has two pots, one for the light and one for the fans, which has two switches, one for the fan one for the heater.

When I pulled the pot out the heater worked. I cut the power, reinserted the power wires and re-tightened the caps joining the wires.

And it seems to be working.

It is odd how this could happen as this switch was not disturbed.

So....working fine now.

If there are separate switches for the heat, light and fan, the wire may have come loose from the switch or at the heater. Even if they are all sharing the same power line there will be separate wires from the switch to each of the components.
