I'm not sure why it would taste better, but I'd get to know your strangers before you ate it. It's just a cold world out there and you never know what strangers would do to candy given out. I'm not saying that all candy that you get is tainted, but I'm just saying, be alert and cautious about strangers.

The elemet of risk when you dont know whether or not the sweeties have been laced with rohypnol makes them taste all the better.

I prefer candy from friends much more.
