I have earned 1266 points. To get Level 4 , 1234 points are enough. But you still put me in Level 3 only. Why?

YOu need 2500 points to get to level 4

Level 4 begins a 2,500 points (for what it's worth!)

Just click on your level 3 status and they'll show you.
