in a heavy sauce pan add 1 can of evaporated milk and 4 cups sugar mix constantly over med heat. When it comes to a full rolling boil, let cook for exactly 8 min. Do not stop stirring!

after 8 min, remove from heat and add 2 sticks of real butter, 1 tsp real vanilla, and 1 bag of choc chips(or other flavor) mix well with a wisk until mixed well. add nuts if desired

pour into a pan that has been sprayed w/ nonstick butter flavored spray let cool completely and cut into squares.

    Old-Fashioned Chocolate Fudge

    INGREDIENTS

    2 cups white sugar

    1/2 cup cocoa

    1 cup milk

    4 tablespoons butter

    1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    DIRECTIONS

Grease an 8x8 inch square baking pan. Set aside.

Combine sugar, cocoa and milk in a medium saucepan. Stir to blend, then bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer. Do not stir again.

Place candy thermometer in pan and cook until temperature reaches 238 degrees F(114 degrees C). If you are not using a thermometer, then cook until a drop of this mixture in a cup of cold water forms a soft ball. Feel the ball with your fingers to make sure it is the right consistency. It should flatten when pressed between your fingers.

Remove from heat. Add butter or margarine and vanilla extract. Beat with a wooden spoon until the fudge loses its sheen. Do not under beat.

Pour into prepared pan and let cool. Cut into about 60 squares.

    1 cup peanut butter

    1 tablespoon butter

    2 handsful semisweet chocolate chips

Place all ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl and heat on HIGH for 2 minutes. The chocolate drops may not look melted. Mix together well, making sure to stir in any of the white center that may clump a little. Pour into an 8-inch square pan and let cool at room temp.

    Drop Fudge recipe

    3 c. sugar

    3 Tbl. cocoa

(mix together in pot) then add

    1 1/2 c. milk

(bring to a boil) then reduce heat until reaches soft ball stage. Turn off heat, then add 1 stick of butter and a tsp. of vanilla extract. Stir until butter melts. Whip to remove shine and starts to cool around side of pot. *I cook mine in an iron skillet. Any kind of nut can be added. Pecans are my favorite. Drop by spoonful onto wax paper or aluminum paper. Allow to cool then peel off to enjoy. Whipping will take a few minutes....make sure fudge starts to harden around side of pot or skillet before dropping and make sure candy has reached the soft ball stage. Enjoy.
