How long were you dialated 1cm?

I was 3cm for about 5 weeks.

Dropping is good! The baby is getting ready! Just take it slow. It will feel like a bowling ball between your legs until the big day!

I don't know how long I was at 1cm because when I went to the doc for my first check, I was already 2cm. That was on a Tuesday, by Sunday night when I went into labor, I was 7 cm. But I know people who have been dialated at 1 or 2 cm for a whole week.

I was dilated to 1cm last week, just got home from my appt and Im still dilated to 1. Im due on sunday so if I have not gone into labor by next thursday then I will schedule an induction. I hate to say it, but it could be a while still. Best of luck!

I went to the er because I thought I was in labor at 36 weeks...turned out I was not. But I was 2 cm dilated and remained that way until the doctors finally decided to induce at 39 weeks.

I was dilated 3cm at 35 weeks, and then 4cm at 36 weeks. I didnt dilate anymore until I went into labor at 38 weeks. My dr thought for sure I would have gone into labor sooner since I was dilated to a 4cm, but my body made me wait 2 whole weeks! It is different for every woman, so it will still probably be awhile longer for you. Good luck!

Well with my 1st baby I went into pre term labor at 30weeks and was dilated to 2cm they gave me a shot to stop the labor so I was dilated to 2cm til I gave birth which was at 36weeks.With my 2nd baby I went to see my doctor at 39weeks and I was dilated to 1cm and at 40weeks and 2days he was born. Every women's body is different you can have your baby within the next week or not til another couple of weeks or so.Good luck to you,and Happy Holidays!

If it's your first baby, you probably have up to 2 or 3 weeks left.

If it's your second, it means nothing. I have been 2cm for most of my pregnancy. In subsequent pregnancies, it's not uncommon for you to be dilated up to 2 cm as the cervix never fully closes again after a vaginal birth.

When i had my second son i was 36 weeks and i had went to my doctor cuz i was having very minor pains when she checked i was 4 cm dilated. I gave birth 4 hours later. Every one is different though.

As you see, it is different for all women. It is just so hard to know for sure. I would say that you have about two more weeks or so. That is my guess.
