Probably Management, because everybody can network computers. Yet, it depends on the place you're going to work. And most importantly, when you're studying something you need to like learning about it. I'm as confused as you are. And I have already changed my major twice.
Whether you're going to work in Australia or USA, Management is a better choice for you, unless you want to work with computers. Like I said, if you don't like the topic or the course, it's real tough to get a good grade in this field. And you can't be a great professional in that career either.
Think about it.
Good Luck.

G'day,
I have a Bachelor of Business degree, majoring in Management Information Systems (or sometimes called business computing) from an Australian university. I enjoy the course very much b'cos it is combining computing studies for business purposes. You do study programming and business studies (eg management, accounting etc). The course gives you a solid base to work as computer analyst in businesses.
The reasons I'm telling my background study is b'cos computer networking sounds awfully limited. However I do not agree with Popsi's answer. Yes, everyone can do simple networking. However when it comes to managed network hub, creating secured connection for wireless networking, assigning IP without DHCP server, configuring proxy servers and VPN connection, you realise that this is not just a simple things.
Management is a study of human behavior, pretty much like a psychology but within the organisation/business context. Usually this leads to careers in Human Resource Management (HRM) or Personnel dept or Job recruitment agency.
So yes... I know that you realise that it is 2 separate world. So you have to know that whichever you choice is, you will study it for the next 3-4yrs, and then most likely to have career for the rest of your life. So which one do you think you will enjoy most? This is important. B'cos by choosing the one that you enjoy most, you will always feel interested in your study and challenged by the difficulties that you'll face. This in turn will give you a better results (so easier to get jobs) and you will be able to perform well in your jobs (resulting in better pays).
Hope this helps. Good luck on your study and welcome to Australia :)
