My daughter is upset that she can't figure out a question on an assignment due tomorrow...it asks to graph..

Its' asking to graph (set of info) as a FUNCTION of (set of info) This is grade 11...does anyone know what this question means??

Update:

Let me go see if she's working on it...

Update 2:

The question reads:

"Graph your data for current (I) vs potential difference(V). Plot (I) as a function of (V)"

What would her axis be labelled?

What is meant by 'function of'...

She is really upset that her teacher did not explain further and when she asked him, he fluffed her off..

I would be on the Y axis and V on the X axis. For each given value of v you presumably have a value of I. so all she has to do is plot the points on the graph.

Yes. But you'd have to give the set info for me to explain it clearly.
