Two little girls were buried today in San Antonio, two more of too many child victims of domestic violence:?

What in your opinion would be the best way to confront this expanding tragedy in our communities ? Is this an issue where you live ? I have seen again and again the question on YA --"why is everyone slamming teenage parents ?"---Although there are many excellent young parents out there the fact is that the common thread here for the death of nearly all of these children has been young, impoverished, undereducated and overwhelmed parents who are not mature enough for anger impulse control, not ensuring adequate supervision, and who have little family support. Why do the right to life folks not put their considerable weight and evident energy and political strength behind resolution for these deaths ? Why will teenage parents not turn to the community resources that are available and highly publicized in our area ? Is it pride-ignorance ? This is a tragedy that needs to be aired and resolved. Your input please ?
