What makes brown eyes stand out?

you are lucky to have brown eyes... I too have them and what i recommend is not to use too suddle colors and not to bright like probably golds and light lavenders... But the only thing is that it depends on your skin tone. If you have lighter skin tone than light lavenders would look better... If you have a darker skin tone then more golder colors... But be careful not to "pile it on"! Good Luck!

Almay has the Intense i-color line for Brown eyes (also Blue, Hazel and Green) the Brown eyes set includes a purple eyeliner, a dark purple mascara and purple and brown eyeshadows. I have brown eyes and have always found purple-y shades to make my eyes pop whether I buy Almay or not. I do know that Wal-mart sometimes has a pack with all three portions on sale for around $10.

Eyeliner always helps and a dark color (black, dark brown, dark purple, dark green, etc) on both top and bottom lids will make anyone's eyes stand out. (I mean look how popular guy-liner is!)

Clothes is a little harder to help with since a lot is based on hair color and skin tone. I have dark hair and medium skin and get lots of compliments when I wear maroons, pinks, and lavenders.

I have brown eyes, with a greenish tint on the sides that you can't really see, and what I found to look the best was putting green liquid eyeliner (I get the cheap stuff) on the bottom lid of my eye, and some black pencil eyeliner on my waterline (that's the part over your bottom lashes... if you get liquid eyeliner on there it gets in your eye and stings, by the way...) and some mascara. I've gotten a few compliments when I used to do my makeup like that.

I stopped with the green though, and switched to blue, because I dyed some of my hair red and it looked christmas-y. :(

I have brown eyes I usually do eyeliner in the water line and a bit on the top and it usually makes my eyes pop. If not that you could also do cat eyes? I think if you're doing eyeshadow go for light orange and light pink it really looks nice.

I have brown eyes and I line my top lashline with kohl black eyeliner - L'oreal Line and Define in Onyx. Just basically follow your lashline and make a neat line; it will make your eyes look bigger and make them stand out.

And, because I personally have almond shaped eyes, I don't use eyeshadow much because it creases. So I use eyeliner colors that compliment brown eyes, right over the black line, and smudge it. I use cobalt blue, purple, and dark pink usually. I always get compliments :)

I have brown eyes and I use cream colors, browns, pinks, warm colors....a good make up to use is Almay Intense I-Color. If you go to a local pharmacy and go to the Almay section they have different colors and eyeliner and mascara for each eye color to make them stand out more. Check out this link:

Almay has an awesome eyeshadow series called "Bring Out The (Eye Color)". It's a 3 color pack of eyeliner with directions on how to apply it properly for the desired effect on the back.

These are all fantastic and come in two versions: the regular one, and "Play" a sexier look for nighttime.

You can buy eye shadow at walmart that has your eye color and the shades that make them stand out.

i went to cosmetics sites like mabelline, cover girl and one had a generator to pick your best shade. i have brown eyes. but i read somewhere that mostly any color will work

I have brown eyes and what i did to make people notice me was I wore sparkly blue! and I got a perfect boyfriend that notices that kind of stuff and he tells everyone how beatiful I am!
