Allstate BCS National Championship Game?
I'm not trying to be biased or anything by saying this, so please don't get me wrong here.
I believe that this game is going to be closer than people think it will be.
I mean, naturally, LSU is going to have what looks like a game in their backyard. It is going to be somewhat of a home game for them, So I see LSU having the crowd advantage.
But if you recall last year, the Buckeyes got crushed in the BCS title game against Florida. So you have to believe that they will have a bad taste in their mouthes. And Jim Tressel is a very good coach (As is Les Miles) when it comes to strategy.
I believe that this game is going to be determined by the running backs, Chris Wells, and Jacob Hester for the most part.
Both running backs had very good seasons when it comes to leading their teams to the big game.
This game should be close however, its going to come down to the team that makes the most plays.
I think if Ohio State takes the momentum of LSU out early, this game could be great.

I think that OSU's defense is ready for this game because of how they saw what went wrong with their DEF in the Florida game. I think OSU have a plan to beat the spread offense. OSu will come through.

Ohio State will win the game, because LSU will let the game get to thier heads. They will do what Ohio State did last year and strut into the game as if they had already won it.
What LSU doesnt know is, Ohio State has a better defense, better running backs, a better offensive line, and a better coach.
It doesnt matter at all that the game is in New Orleans though. Remember the 2005 Rose Bowl? Texas Vs. USC? Pasadaena is a half hour drive from the University of Southern Cal, and Austin Texas is halfway across the country. How did that game end up? Texas had no problem, and either should Ohio State.
LSU doesnt have that one player that can put the team on his back and win the game. Ohio State has Beanie Wells, who is easily one of the nations best running backs, and he can put a team on his back and win the game if he needs to. He WAS the offense in the Michigan game, and he can do it again. Also, people will get to see Glenn Dorsey for how overrated he really is, once he gets stiffed by Kirk Barton and Alex Boone. Just wait until they see Vernon Gholston. Now hes a player. Matt Flynn and Ryan Perriloux will have a long night if he isnt double teamed.

everyone thinks Ohio State will lose because of what happened in last year's game
the reason why Ohio State got so badly beaten because they fot fat over a 50 day break and didn't practice that much or vey hard...this year they are approaching it in the right matter because of what happened
Ohio State was so confident last year that if they showed up they will win...hopefully LSU doesn't do the same thing because the media is really pumping them up as the more dominant team with Ohio State having no chance
I expect a close game where any team can take it in the 4th quarter

I think you might be right about the close game.. But I wouldnt count on Ohio State putting up 200 rushing yards on LSU's defense..I would count on LSU showing up healthy and ready to play... If LSU doesnt make costly mistakes we will win handily...
