I also liked the Band of Horses record, Paul McCartney one and the Black Francis one but I wouldn't necessarily make them top of the year worthy. My finger has been kind of off the pulse this year. There are a few on your list that I really need to have a look at (particularly Spoon, the National (haven't actually heard them yet, but I've heard a lot of good things) and the Arcade Fire one (the first record was very good).
