The aquarium has a white cloud?

My aquarium has a white cloud looking stuff on the plastic plants and on the gravel floor...

What is it??? and how do I get rid of it???...

I do not know why it formed in the first place.. this is a hexagonal shaped 3.5 gallon aguarium with 5 very small fish (i do not know what are they called) ..about an inch long..

I have 3 different species and two of them are and were pregnant... I do not want to change the water because of the eggs.. four new fish were born and then the mother died and then 3 of 4 babies died...

I think the other fish allready layed her eggs...

Help.. Please..!!!

Thanks..!!!

probably guppies or "gupps". the females do usaually die after birth and your white cloud is algae (ive encountered the same stuff). more specific hair algae.

i think the main thing to do is small, frequent, partial water changes.
