How come the day they walked on the moon is not a national holiday?

gettin on the moon was a good accomplishment for us, but it was really gettin an equal position in the space race with the soviets. they had beaten us by sendin the first satellite into space. so by gettin on the moon we caught up to the other dominant space programs, makin us really even, but not anything worthy of a holiday

Well because native people put a sign up on the moon saying it isn't your land yet. Just because you put a flag up there don't mean it becomes the property of the U.S. American's have a one track mind.

I watched it all occur live on TV, but guess no one thought of it as a Holiday. Today anything that happens especially if it's bad automatically becomes a remembered event. :)

casue it aint true, explain how the moon shines, hm, if the moons shines then it wouldn't be made out of dust and rocks and dirt, its shines and somethings makin it shine....so i don' t believe it...........but not only cuse of that, also cuase they have no real pictures of any of the other planets its all paintings and sh*t, oh and the graphics technology is getting to high, have you ever seen those space movies it looks too real so who the *** knows if they liein or not.
