My 5yr old won't let us pull her tooth....?

My daughter is about to lose her first tooth on the bottom. The other tooth has already grown in and she won't let us pull it out.

Any suggestions on how to get it out? It is basicly just hanging there!

When I was small I had to get this tooth pulled out for the first time and I threw a huge fit about it.

Try to come to an agreement with her and ask her if she rather pull it out herself (that's what I did). If she does want to do that, just tie some tooth floss around the tooth and let her hold the other end. Ask her to start with small tugs and then to pull it out whenever she feels ready.

Give her something hard to chew on! If that doesn't work sit her down on the couch and explain to her why it is important to pull out her tooth(talk about the tooth fairy). She'll most likely give in!:) Merry Christmas!

I brush my 2 300 and sixty 5 days olds tooth on an identical time as she is in the tub..that way she will't run. conserving her nevertheless sufficient to comb her tooth won't harm her, yet i understand that its a venture in itself. I consistently attempt to get the backside and ideal lower back tooth the ideal, then I hit or pass over at something and desire for the ideal. We took our daughter to her first dentist appointment at around 19 months. She develop right into a pediatric dentist and develop into super. She informed us that the main severe ingredient is which you attempt to get in a robust brush at bedtime. She informed us to proceed "attempting" to do it 2-three times an afternoon, however the main severe time develop into till now bedtime through exploit, juice, and nutrition sugars. She informed us to no longer rigidity it and that regularly we will not get a robust brush in all day and different situations we can, yet attempting develop into what mattered. Our daughters dentist had us lay our daughters head on her lap on an identical time as my husband held her ft and all she did develop into count extensive sort her tooth and he or she regarded at them. She would not sparkling babies tooth til' age 3 till its mandatory, yet we circulate lower back each 6 months and its been a robust journey and my daughter hates medical doctors and he or she threw a in superb condition on an identical time as she develop into mendacity there, yet her dentist develop into super and the final journey develop into good. Our daughter likes her dentist, the workplace, and the toys, however the incredibly examination, no longer plenty, yet 5 minutes and its over and he or she's satisfied circulate fortunate. i'm no longer telling you to take your daughter to the dentist, yet pediatric dentists concentrate on youthful babies and that they are experienced in coping with them. The examination rooms are open and every time we circulate, each baby in that place crys or squirms on an identical time as being examed. The dentist expects it and handles it nicely, yet 5 minutes and its over. Do what you experience is right, yet proceed attempting to comb her tooth collectively, and its okay to hold her down, shes tougher than what you think of. If she fusses, lower back off somewhat, yet motivate her to comb. I sing a music and tell my daughter to open extensive like an alliagator, then I brush here and there on an identical time as i will lol.

Just let it work its way out by itself if she doesn't want you to pull it out - she will probably accidentally pull it out by playing with it, as most kids do.

it will fall out or she will probably yank it eventually. it's not going to hurt her, even if it looks odd.

kids are sometimes scared to just rip a tooth out... think about it.

Give her an apple, or something equally hard to chew on. Gum may work. If she doesn't want YOU pulling it out, then don't. It'll fall out in due time anyway.

I would just let it fall out on it's own don't force it out or have her pull it out herself.
