Are cheat pregnancy test accurate?

Honestly it doesnt really matter what test you take. They make expensive ones and cheapie ones so no matter the female it can be affordable. I bought the double test pack from excerds the first time and they were both positive. It had to be accurate because Ive just started my 5th month! Good luck girly...

All pregnancy tests do the exact same thing. They detect the pregnancy hormone that a woman only has when pregnant. The only difference between the tests is that some can detect lower levels of hormones (the more expensive ones detect lower levels). If your hormone count is lower than the test can detect, then you'll get a negative. I would wait until your next period is due again. Still no period? Take another test. If you can't wait that long, go to a free clinic and tell them your situation. They will administer another urine test and possibly a blood test.

I tested 7 days before and got a true positive. The brand i used was answer.

I have taken that kind of test (Equate) and it was also correct being a negative which i was not pregnant. No test has been wrong with me no matter what brand they were.

Surprisingly, cheap tests purchased at dollar stores or on the Internet are often more sensitive and reliable than expensive store brands. HPT's are like soda: very cheap to make, and marked up quite a bit for retail.

When I was waiting to start my period I was buying all kinds of different tests. All were negative. 3 days after my period was late I decided to take a test but didn't want to waste more money, so I bought a dollar store test. It was positive. Now I'm 35 weeks along. Any test will due. =) Good luck.

I have taken a test from the dollar store before......It told me I was pregnant........9 months later I had a baby boy. I also used the same test you are talking about and it seems to be pretty accurate also. I doesn't really matter how much money you spend on the test. If you are pregnant the test will let you know.

Yes! They are just as accurate. I had a cheapie test and got a strong positive result in about 10 seconds. I took mine 2 days before my missed period. Try taking the test! Good luck!

They all look for the same horomone. I took a Dollar Tree one(only a dollar!) and it came back positive for me... and I'm obviously pregnant.

Your period could be delayed for many reasons. Are you stressing about something? Have you recently changed birth control or started birth control? It may just be late for absolutely no reason at all. Of course, you could be pregnant. Your best bet now is to go see a doctor and have him/her do a blood test.

i took two tests when i found out i was pregnant..

one was the $4 walmart brand

the other was one of those $25 digital tests...

both worked just fine, they are all usually pretty accurate..

If you think you are pregnant than go to the doctors and ask to take one there. If you can't do that than wait until your next time to start you just could be late that all. Like i said just wait until the next month if you are most Lady's don't find out until they are about a month pregnant .

The cheap ones work just as good I got mine from the dollar tree and it came out accurate !!
