Y!A Censorship Has Gone Way TOO Far.?
A 'question' posted wishing members a 'merry christmas' was removed 'for not being a question or an answer'.
Come on....if every post or question that was not a question or answer was deleted, more than half the content on the god forsaken piece of garbage should be removed.

Yahoo Answers does not censor anything. This site is moderated by members and some take the rules strictly. Maybe half the questions should be deleted. I would like to see a separate category for things like "Merry Christmas" with no answers allowed and deletion after 24 hours with the only cost being the initial 5 points.

What a load of crap!
You should be able to wish folks here a merry Christmas or a happy halloween or a wonderful arbor Day without getting the violation of "not a question or an answer" or "chatting".
If this was the case. Polls and Surveys would be obliterated

People can report your answers and have your questions deleted for any reasons trolls are a dime a dozen on here.

Those are the rules, it would be quite silly really, everybody would clutter the site up with messages and not ask questions.
