People who will call security if you don't have, or refuse to surrender your boarding pass to.

Wow, you have an interesting mix of answers. If you're talking about the last person in the airport to check your boarding pass before getting on the plane, "Gate Agent" is the correct answer. If you are talking about elsewhere in the airport, you may have to clarify the question.

The TSA does check to make sure you have a boarding pass before clearing security, but you do not surrender the pass to them.

I always do selfboarding. It is a machine for me. The people working for the airline are called gate agents, those at the scurity checks scurity agents.

Often, they have the role of the 'Flight Director' (or like a 'head attendant' in the aircraft).. but I'm not sure they have any specific 'label' or 'position'.

I'd say the TSA (Transportation Security Administration)

  • The police, when they arrest you for impersonating a gate agent.
