ok how bad did i mess up??

ok well tonight i went for a ride with my best friend that ive known for YEARS who is a girl and im haveing feelings for now.not sure how she feels.she seems to be flirting with me and all that.well the whole time i was driving she was talking and was constantly hitting me as she was talking.she was biting her nails constantly.well we got back to her house to drop her off.we sat in the car talking and laughing for what felt like a half hour.then as she was gettin ready to get she was just sitting there biting her nails with the sweetest smile on her face for a few minutes before getting out.

did i mess up and miss my chance?what do i do now?think ill get another chance?think she might make the first move instead?man i hope i didnt mess up to bad.ive been trying to let IT just happen.trying not to make her feel too uncomfortable or anything.figured it may just happen on its own but seems it may need a push to get started
