Computer gaming computer stuff question?

how do u tell which is the better graphic card ?

i have a eMachines microsoft windowxp, home edition

i think the graphic card is clereron(R) CPU 2.60GHz

2.59GHz

504 MB of RAM

i wanna play game faster on my computer do you think i should buy a better graphic card or more RAM ? i dunt' care much about the quality of the graphic as speed ?

    The graphics card is not actually the "celeron CPU 2.60GHz." That's actually your processor type and speed. Your graphics card will be separate from this.

    I would however suggest more RAM, as most new games demand lots of RAM. Plus, adding RAM will most likely improve your computer's performance overall, even when you're not in a game (unless this computer is purely for gaming, but even then I would still suggest the RAM upgrade).

    when u say "i think the graphic card is clereron(R) CPU 2.60GHz"thats not the graphics card ur computer probably doesnt have a graphics card it will have intergrated gtraphics u need to check in ur pci-e slot if u qant to play really good games on r computer u need to buy a geforce 8 series depending on what kind of money ur going to spend on it and check if ur power supply can handle the card the more the graphics card can put out the more power it will need i would advise u if ur going to be playing a lot of games buy 512mb RAM for ur computer so it will be 1 gigabite che3ck these websites for graphics cards but there is maney more makes then geforce:

    you need to determine if the machine has an agp slot or a pcie

    You also need to decide how much you want to spend on the gpu

    Also, a gig or more ram is a good idea. You will get more bang-for-your-buck from the video card though. That should be the priority.

    See how you know what graphic card you own:

    Right-click on My Computer

    Manage

    Device Manager

    On the Right - click on the + sign of Display Adapters

    Then note it down and post it here... then we will know iif you can play high quality games.

    But your RAM is quite enough and your CPU speed is ok.

    now a days all pc comes with internal grafic card.even ur pc may have 0f 32 mb of grafic card.

    if u want fast game experience then u can purchase nvidia 512mb or nvdia 256mb graphic card.this is d best thing u can do.........u have enough RAM and processor capability so u need a graphic card

    Estoy muy apasionada de este mundo y todos mis amigos han confiado en mí a la hora de comprar un ordenador, yo siempre les he comprado de sitios web porque tienen la mejor oferta al mejor precio, pero, el ultimo ordenador que he comprado ha sido uno de juguete para mi hija, y como siempre he acertado, tiene la dimensión perfecta para ella, buenas canciones, aprende con él y imita muy bien un ordenador portátil con su ratón con todo, a ella le ha encantado muchísimo.

    Well, if your graphic card has memory adapter of atleast 128MB you can play any games as you want.
