Why didn't Christ perform any real miracles.?

Instead of feeding a few thousand why not solve world hunger? Instead of curing one blind person why not get rid of blindness all together? What good was turning water to wine {except for getting drunk}?

Update:

A miracle for a human would be on a small scale. A miracle for a God would not be on the same scale it should have been a much bigger deed. A god feeding a few is not a miracle just a parlor trick, solving world hunger would have been a miracle. I can turn apples into hard cider does this mean I have performed a miracle?

Because 1)the myth of Jesus is made up from a number of legends about a number of people who lived many years ago and 2)there are no gods or god or supernatural abilities

The so-called miracles are allegories or just a ‘ paradox ‘ which is the original Greek word .

Jesus himself says he will only perform 1 miracle. ( Mark 8:12 Luke 11:29 etc ).

For example the ‘ turning water into wine ‘ is a allegory about making public the 2nd part of the ceremony traditionally reserved for priests where wine was served. The 1st part of the ceremony was for everyone and water was served. So it is said Jesus turned water into wine.

Jesus may have done some faith healing , it’s likely that’s how he earned his living and the odd blind man cured or a bit of chiropractory to help someone walk again would be seen as a miracle , remember the Babylonians were removing cataracts during this time .

Of course we are assuming that Jesus existed in the 1st place.

Jesus healed everyone who asked..............but the point was not the miracles but to show God sent Him.

We have a sin problem and that was the real reason he came.

We will continue with poverty, sickness, etc. because of sin.

However, this world isn't all there is ---- it's just a starting point. All of the things you mentioned will not exist in the next life because sin won't be there................

There was much more to Jesus than miracles -- all miracles are temporal. You can have no hunger and no sickness and still miss heaven.

He did perform great miracles. but the reason that he did not cure the whole world of its problems is sin and just think if he had how bad this world would be coz every body would be away from God as they would have no need for him. See?

I think you mean, Why didn't Christ perform greater miracles?

Jesus did many miracles, and some of them are recorded in the Bible.

As for looking for world wide miracles, the first time He came to earth He came meek and lowly, but when He comes the next time it will be with ALL power and authority.

"Real" miracles... You need to read the New Testament again. I haven't heard of ONE person since who could do what he did.

Go and read your new bible as in the new testament, then come back and post this question.
