how much the damage will cost from car accident?

on a new 2008 c300 mercedes

it was hit on the front passenger side near the headlights and the hit was considered to be minor... how much will the damage cost me?

Update:

the damage is small none of the lights were hit

jus a dent on the car like the size of a softball...

    .Not sure what a bender is on a car, but based on your description of the damage, not old but not new Mitsubishi, and the great pictures of the damage I would guess it could be anywhere between $____ and $$____. And in most cases the police report goes to your insurance company anyway.

    if they need to change the lights and everything i would say about 300$ to 400$ but that all depends on the damage! if there is scratches or dents so on! but it should be around there!

    Call your auto insurance agent and he will give you the best collision shop to go to for a fair estimate to repair it.

    you have a new mercedes, so im guessing money isnt real big on your agenda, but my estimate is ten thousand tops, low end about one thousand
